Different forms of literature, Hindi language and grammar, literary criticism, rhetoric and prosody, mass media, I.T. in Hindi and Social media are taught in B.A. program. Current discourses and ideologies through literature like Globalization, Dalit, Stree and Aadivasi are also incorporated in our syllabus.

Being a non-hindi speaking state, we keep the problems of the students in mind and thus make Hindi an easy and simple language. Our aim and objective is to create awareness about the socio-cultural and historical perspective of India. Through Hindi language and literature, we inculcate human values in younger minds. We are consistently working on to make students competent and skilled. We sensitize the students about the current issues and strive hard to make them a good citizen.

Hindi department in association with Hindi Parisabha organises various curricular and co-curricular activities throughout the year. Intercollegiate “Maithilisharan Gupt Aashu Bhashan Spardha” is being conducted since 50 years. Intercollegiate “Premchand Kathakathan Spardha” also enriches the skill of story telling in students. Every year “Hindi Diwas” is celebrated to mark the significance of our national language. Many famous literary figures visit our college to inspire and create passion for literature among students.
