The Department of History organises various co-curricular activities through History Association. The association provides platform for the discussion on the historical themes. The association organises discussions on the recent trends in the field of historical researches along with attempting to make history relevant to the understanding of the present. It conducts various activities like Poster Competition, Career Guidance Programmes, Webinars and Study Tours. Under Graduate and Post Graduate students get opportunity to share and express their ideas with one another in an attempt to make the learning of history more engaging, interactive and multi-dimensional. The Association also involves past students into its activities and thereby creates a bridge between the past and present students, akin to the discipline of history which makes a similar bridge between the past and present.
