The Association of Political Science was conceptualized under the Department of Political Science since the year 1986. The association aims to instill stage courage and confidence in students and to be articulate in their discursive expressions being from a proactive/empirical social science i.e. Political Science. This aim is fulfilled by organizing year around activities for students apart from regular academic learning. These activities are organized under the student representatives i.e. President and Vice-President respectively to develop leadership qualities amongst the students.

Objectives

The objective of the Political Science Association is to have an update on the subject matter and create an awakening among the students to encompass issues related to general knowledge and decision-making as they join professional careers eventually.
Organizing a few talks by eminent and specialized knowledge-oriented people local/national/international in the field of the subject which will be resulted in to have an exchange and interaction with the wider world.
To develop critical knowledge and venture out the epistemological articulations in the fields of knowledge production, especially when Political Science is considered to be the key branch of liberal arts.
