The objective of humanities is to encourage students to gain and develop knowledge, conceptual understanding, research skills, analytical and interpretive skills, and communication skills, contributing to the development of the student as a whole.

Humanities encourage students to respect and understand the world around them, and to provide a skills-base to facilitate further study. This is achieved through the study of individuals, societies and environments in a wide
context: historical, contemporary, geographical, political, social, economic, religious, technological and cultural. The learning associated to humanities should also lead to a close understanding of the concepts of holistic learning, intercultural awareness and communication.

Key Information

Pedagogy

The study of knowledge and skills are imparted by using combination of following techniques :The pedagogy includes Lectures, assignments, presentations, Demo sessions, guest lectures (on the time of Board Exam Preparation), and interactive Practical lectures. Students are expected to spend considerable time in study and come prepared for the exams.
