Dr. Meera Venkatesh has been engaging in the dimensions of English Language and Literature in her professional front as a faculty member of the  Department of English, K.J.Somaiya College of Arts & Commerce, Mumbai and on a personal front as researcher and creative writer. Her journey has enriching experiences of teaching, examining, reforming various levels of syllabi of Mumbai University undergraduate and post-graduate courses of English and researching the treasures underlying the troves of the language and its literature. Her career in teaching has been closely related to Somaiya Campus from 1995 till the present date, including stints in erstwhile SK Somaiya College of Arts & Commerce as founding faculty and in KJSCE. Of late, she attempts to bring in inter-disciplinary relevance to the study of theories of literature, while engaging in creating social awareness of responsibilities among young learners.
