Dr. Shobha Bennet Mathew has done her schooling from St.Xavier High School, Kanjurmarg (West), Completed her Graduation from K.J. Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce and her Masters in Commerce (MCom) from University of Mumbai. She has qualified her SET (State Eligibility Test for Lecturership) from Pune.  She has also completed her MBA and MPhil. She has also completed her MA (Clinical Psychology)

She has done her PhD in Commerce and Management from the University of Mumbai.

She is very passionate about teaching and is also a soft skill trainer.

She has conducted Faculty Development Program for Gurukul College, Pillai College etc.

Has imparted Soft Skill Training  for  Indian Customs, Central Excise, NABARD, MSME, Fortis, Currie, Choice,  Godrej Memorial Hospital, Hindu MahaSabha, Tech link  and various other colleges

Areas handled in soft skills : Leadership and Team Building, Attitude Change Management and Work Ethics, Perception Management, Passenger Management, Decision Making, Stress Management, Conflict Management, Time and Mind Management, Personality Development, Emotional Intelligence,Motivation, Sexual Harassment, Effective Communication etc.

She has been a visiting faculty for many presitigious institutes like NMIMS, Mukesh Patel, St. Xaviers, Sydenham, KC College, VJTI etc.

She has been invited as Subject Expert for teachers selection.
