Sustainability is an important aspect of present-day life. It has become buzzword in the present times. Interestingly, our tradition and heritage always had this insight. This study probes into the Jain perspective of sustainable life. The Jain emphasis on minimalism can be analysed from the standpoint of ecology. The exploration of the connection between the ancient Jain texts and the resolution of the present environmental challenges can be done. Ecotheological approach can generate acceptable and better outcomes for the world.
