The era of globalisation has embarked the period of moving images all over the world. Globalisation has created many challenges in front of the religious communities. The responses of the Jain periodicals in Mumbai to the forces of globalisation have been interesting. The study of the transformation of the Jain periodicals at a macro level is significant as globalisation has allowed access to a host of things hitherto represented as ‘foreign’.
