Home lending of books

Textbooks of all subjects for seven days home lending.

Current Issue

At the Current Reading Counter & Reference Counter, the textbooks, general books, question papers are provided for current reading only, against the Identity Card.

Periodicals/Newspapers

Current periodicals from Current Reading Counter, back issues from Reference Counter, newspapers from Home Lending Counter can be referred within library.

Reference Service

books other than textbooks are issued and reference sources are available for current reading. We personally help students to select books according to their interest.

Question papers of previous year

Files are kept at Current Reading Counter and are available to refer within the library.

Book-Bank

Textbooks are provided for one academic year against the deposit same as the cost of books, which is fully refundable.

Reading Room

418 chairs are provided at present and likely to be increased.

Listing of books

according to Subject, Author through computer program. But any kinds of lists are prepared for different purposes according to requirement. Students can use library computers for preparing lists of their interest.

Referral service

We guide students to another library if the books of their interest are not available in our library.

Display of newly arrived books

These are displayed in two cupboards and are available there during the complete academic year. These books are issued.

Photocopy Facility

We provide photocopy facility to staff and students.

Overnight book reading facility

We provide Overnight Book Reading Facility. Whenever required by student the book can be issued for overnight only from Current Reading Counter when textbooks will not available on Home Issue Counter.

Printing

Both are available for strictly educational purpose to staff under guidance from library staff.

Internet

The access to internet is provided free of charge to all including students and staff strictly for educational purpose only.

Computer Practice

Whenever the computers in second network are free, the students are permitted to practice programming on them.
